Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account or using Briefly (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.
2. The Service
Briefly researches the public internet for developments relevant to a business you describe, and delivers what it finds by email on a Daily or Weekly schedule you choose. Discoveries are drawn from third-party sources; Briefly does not independently verify them and isn’t responsible for their accuracy. Where a discovery includes a suggested “your move,” that suggestion is informational only, not professional, legal, or financial advice.
3. Accounts
You sign in with a magic link sent to your email — there’s no password to protect, so keep control of that inbox. You’re responsible for the accuracy of the business information you provide and for activity under your account.
4. Subscriptions & billing
Your first briefing is free. Continued Daily or Weekly delivery is a paid subscription, billed monthly or annually as shown at checkout. You can change your delivery cadence or cancel anytime in Settings; cancellation stops future billing but doesn’t refund the current period unless required by law.
5. Acceptable use
Don’t use the Service to violate the law, to submit business information you don’t have the right to submit, or to attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or overload the Service.
6. Intellectual property
Briefly and its branding are owned by us. The discoveries sent to you are yours to use for your own business; the underlying Service, its software, and its design remain ours.
7. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
8. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including business decisions made on the basis of a discovery it sent you.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
